SO. WHO IS

JAMES
PULL

Since first turning the wheel aged eight, 24-year-old James Pull has been proving himself as one of the most exciting young drivers in motorsport.

After achieving numerous karting successes in Asia, James moved up to compete at the highest levels of karting across Europe.

In 2015, James made his single-seater debut in MSA Formula, and immediately impressed on his first weekend he stood on the podium twice - one of which alongside current McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris.

James stepped up to the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with Carlin Motorsport at the end of the following year. In 2017, he ended the year as both the Vice-Champion and Rookie-Champion in the series, scoring podium finishes in 14 of the 24 races. James was one of just two drivers to stand on the podium at every single round.

For 2018 James transitioned into GT racing, debuting in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Championship. With five wins and 17 podiums in total, James became the vice-champion in both Asia and the Middle East and created history by becoming the first-ever British Super Trofeo European race winner.

He followed that achievement with yet more success in 2019, when he claimed victory in the world-famous 24 Hours of Spa, despite it marking his first-ever 24-hour race. James also finished fourth in the highly competitive Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup - Silver Class, where he consistently demonstrated strong and confident drives across a series of legendary endurance races.

The following year he remained in the championship - now named the GT World Challenge Europe - and immediately won in his first race of the season at the Nurburging. The following year, James piloted an Audi R8 LMS for WRT Racing in the Silver Class of the GT World Challenge Europe, which saw him race on iconic tracks such as Monza, Paul Ricard and the Nurburgring in addition to competing at the 2021 24 Hours of Spa. His team finished the season 5th in their class, with the highlight of the season being a podium at Monza.

In 2024 James has returned to the cockpit, and to Asia, to race in Super Taikyu, Japan’s highest level of endurance racing. For the 2024 season, he will be piloting a Mercedes-AMG GT4 for Hitotsuyama Racing in the ST-Z class. So far this season has put together a string of solid results, including 7th position in the 2024 24 Hours of Fuji.
