Teaming up with the current championship-leading team Carlin, the talented teenager will be given the chance to impress at the Northamptonshire circuit, making the step up to a powerful Dallara-Volkswagen 2.0 litre for the first time.

The Singapore-born driver is currently in the midst of a strong and consistent campaign with the Surrey-based outfit in the BRDC British F3 Championship. Gracing the podium an impressive 13 times across 7 rounds, James’ eyes are set upon ending the season as vice-champion in only his rookie year in the series.

After proving himself as one to watch during this year's British F3 season this opportunity provides James with the next step towards competing in the highly-competitive FIA European F3 championship.
